October 25, 2007 in FINCA Kosovo HQ office Prizren, the selection of the winners for the student scholarships took place. In order to show transparency during the whole process of selection and winners announcement, the ceremony of awarding the scholarship was held in front of media representatives.
The ceremony was opened by occasion speech held by FINCA Kosova Country Director Stefan Martiniak. He thanked the students for their participation and emphasized the importance of education of young generations which is very important for the future of every country. He also informed the participants that FINCA took this initiative to grant three scholarships in amount of 500 euros each, to support the education of Kosova youth.
The awarded students were from three different cities of Kosova:
Xheladin Fejziu Prishtina.
Granit Rudi Gjakova.
Robertina Gjoka Prizren.
FINCA Kosovo wishes to the winners a lot of success in their future education path.
The ceremony ended with a small cocktail party to thank the participants.
