The Microfinance Institution FINCA Kosovo, a branch/affiliate of FINCA International, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Agricultural Development Agency (ADA), which operates under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development. Ceremony of signing this agreement took place at the central office of FINCA Kosovo.

This agreement includes mutual cooperation between ADA and FINCA in the agricultural sector. The agreement enables coordination of mutual activities in the agrarian sector and the implementation of other necessary activities in this field. Also, there will be exchange of information on activities and services of ADA and FINCA Kosovo in the agriculture sector.

Since 2000, when FINCA started its operations in Kosovo, this microfinance institution has considered the agriculture as the most important sector and has always sought to create and tailor its products to the requirements and needs of local farmers.

With its mission, FINCA is committed ‘to provide financial services to entrepreneurs with lower incomes so they can create jobs, build assets and improve their standard of living.’ With this agreement, farmers and economic operators engaged in the agricultural sector will have greater financial support and more favorable development of this sector.
