FINCA Kosovo has renewed* its GOLD level Client Protection Certification, issued by the global rating agency MFR, based on guidelines outlined in the internationally recognized Cerise+SPTF Client Protection Certification Framework.

This achievement demonstrates that FINCA Kosovo meets the most rigorous standards of Client Protection found in Cerise+SPTF’s Universal Standards for Social Performance Management and confirms our ongoing commitment to client protection, responsible practices, and the delivery of financial services in line with the highest international standards.

What is MFR?

MFR (MicroFinanza Rating) is an international agency that provides independent assessments and certifications for financial institutions worldwide. The Client Protection Certification is an external and independent evaluation that verifies whether a financial institution effectively implements client protection principles, treats clients fairly, and operates in accordance with responsible finance standards.

The certification assesses an institution’s policies, procedures, management systems, staff practices, and client-facing processes against internationally recognized client protection standards.
