Association for the cultivation of modern Art- ART PLUS has organized a project called where the garbage belongs. The main purpose of this project was to increase the awareness of citizens in order to protect the environment from pollution, then, to throw the garbage on places dedicated for this purpose and not everywhere, as well as the possibility for recycling stuff such as paper, metal, wood etc.
This project was held down town Prizren, in Shadervan and it lasted for 3 days. The presentation of garbage was done artistically and in attractive way, with baskets displayed as well indicating that that’s where the garbage should end up. In this ceremony among the attendees were also present the representatives of local and international agencies and government offices, including the media representatives.
One of the main purposes of this event was to send a message to all that the environmental pollution is detrimental to all of us.
