FINCA Kosovo participated in a workshop organized by AMIK (Association for Microfinance Institutions in Kosovo) and sponsored by EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) where the theme was on transformation of microfinance institutions NGO’s to depository taking institution. The workshop was attended by representatives of the MFI’s in Kosovo, governmental representatives and partners and the main theme in this workshop was the presentation of the Terms of Reference for the Working Group with representatives from Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Public Administration, CBK and AMIK reps as well as the role of microfinance. The Terms of Reference was signed by CBK Governor Hashim Rexhepi, the Minister of Finance Ahmet Shala and the Minister of Public Administration Arsim Bajrami. FINCA Kosovo was one of the developers and is an active member of AMIK as well as an active involver in organizing the workshop where also . Ella Beavers, the Country Director (CEO) of FINCA Kosovo was an active contributor in developing the Terms of Reference. Attending the workshop were also the Medias of Kosovo who covered the presentations of the representatives
