On Friday the 9th of October, Foreign Minister of Austria, Michael Spindelegger visited Kosovo where he met the representatives of Kosovo such as President, Prime Minister, high profiled individuals as well as the Director of FINCA Kosovo Ella Beavers. During his meeting in Kosovo, Mr, Spindelegger met the Director of FINCA Kosovo Ella Beavers in the Austrian Embassy Office in Prishtina. During the meeting, Ms. Beavers informed the Foreign Minister about FINCA’s activities in Kosovo and thanked the Minister for the contribution that the government of Austria has made to the development of microfinance and in general the financial sector in Kosovo. This cooperation between FINCA and Austria will focus on developing the economy of Kosovo. The meeting took place in a friendly environment and at the same time, Ms. Beavers presented Mr. Spindelegger with a souvenir with FINCA logo which is specially designed with crystal stones of Kosovo and produced by local enterpreneurs. The meeting between the director of FINCA Kosovo Ms. Beavers and the Foreign Minister of Austria Mr. Spindelegger was covered by national and international media and press including the largest Austrian national newspaper ‘Kronenzeitung’
