BMDP Training in Kosovo
FINCA Eurasia Development Academy (FEDA), operating under the oversight of the FINCA Eurasia represented by John Yancura, in co-ordination with the affiliate Country Management Team started Branch Manager Development Program (BMDP) training in FINCA Kosovo.
The functional modules (1, 7-12) will be presented in Prizren from 16-20 October in Kosovo country level management felt that the functional module material (such as policy compliance, reading and interpreting financial statements, along with planning and organizing operations) was immediately relevant to the needs of their Branch and Credit Managers. Sixteen of the program’s Managers will took part in the 5 day training.
FINCA Kosovo Country Director, Stefan Martiniak, spoke to the participants and expressed his support for the program on the first day of the training. COO Engyl Pallusha played an active role in the trainings working with John to make sure that that material was directly relevant to FINCA Kosovo’s strategy and daily operations. Head of Human Resource Department Elvan Karjagdiu, Finance Manager Agnesa Vezgishi and F/I Advisor Olga Sedykh will contributed to the training.
With the managerial modules, many of the affiliate local Branch and Credit managers will be completed phase I of the BMDP (12 modules). Participants exchanged ideas and experiences and created individual action plans on how to implement what they learned. Follow up for the training includes regular email updates and discussions among participants and plans by many to conduct further trainings at their affiliates.
