On 14 February 2007 FINCA Kosovo program in Eurasia Region, celebrated its 7th anniversary of microfinance lending in Kosovo. In addition, FINCA Kosovo organized. Client Appreciation Days in all its branches to honor and recognize those active clients who were loyal to FINCA for 5 and more years. These client celebration days were well covered by local mass media, including television and radio. More then 1,000 active clients were individually and officially recognized in their branch offices.
During each opening ceremony Edward Greenwood, FINCA Kosovo Country Director gave opening remarks recognizing our clients and staff and the achievement during the past 7 years. He mentioned that FINCA is all about people, and without our professional and dedicated staff we could not implement our mission, and without our clients there is no mission. He spoke about the future transformation of FINCA Kosovo into a deposit taking entity and thanks clients for their continued loyalty to FINCA.
FINCA Kosovo achieved to reach the milestone of 10.000 active clients by 27 February. FINCA Kosovo now has largest client outreach in all of the microfinance sector in Kosovo.
