System Administrator

  • Manage and maintain all aspects of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and software patches.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect the company’s data and systems from unauthorized access, viruses, and other security threats.
  • Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels across various systems and platforms.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving technical problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to implement new technologies and solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for reference and training purposes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the company’s IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. (Preferred)
  • Proven experience as an IT System Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with server hardware, storage systems, and backup solutions.
  • Familiarity with security tools and practices, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)) are a plus.
